In Zoo Keeper, you basically swap tiles around to make matches of three or more. Remove a certain number of tiles as stated on the top right of the screen to proceed to the next level.

You have to sit through an ad before being allowed to play. Minor hassle since the game itself is worth the wait.

Will win you over with it's simplicity and cute graphics. Definitely a keeper.

Zoo Keeper DX is a matching game by ROBOT which involves swapping tiles around to make matches of three or more. This updated version includes special tiles which can be used as a substitute for any tile on board, a helpful hint feature, and the handy checklist to keep track of your level objectives.

Zoomines is a new release that uses sprites from the popular Flash online game, Zoo Keeper, with the familiar gameplay system seen in Mizuguchi's masterpiece. Blocks are moved around using the arrow keys, whilez pressing the A or D key will rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise.

This version uses hi-res sprites and backgrounds coupled with smooth framerates. The music is pretty good as well. Available for both Windows and Mac.

Zoomstar Megaracing Maximum is a bite-sized racing game which requires only the use of two keys to play. There are only six tracks to race on but the challenge is extended by variations on the number of laps required to complete a race, different cars and slightly modified tracks for each of the nine trophies.

Use the left or right cursor keys to steer the hover car. Speed decreases whenever your car passes over grass or sand, and will explode when it comes to a halt.

The plot of Zub involves navigating through ten different planets to find the lost Eye of Zub. Each planet is connected to some others by a system of teleports. You start on planet 1 and must get to planet 10 and back.

There are platforms on each screen, when you stand on one you can move it by crouching and pushing left or right. Use the platforms to get up to the three teleports at the top, your destination depending on which you choose. There is always at least one alien on screen at any one time, which descends from the top and attempts to knock you off the platforms.

Zugya
Chinchilla SofthouseShoot 'em up0.66 MBClick here to download

Zugya is an excellent shooter from Chinchilla Softhouse that can be described as Robotron: 2084 in space. Arrow keys control the ship's movement, and your shot direction is locked when you hold down the X key. Pressing the C key will activate your plasma charge, which is basically a short moment of invincibility.

Your main targets are the space stations which you have to destroy by shooting at it's core. It won't be easy as they're usually protected by substations equipped with all sorts of defensive weapons. Some of the substations carry power-ups which you can collect to boost your spread shot.

When the game starts, click on the joypad tab, input patch and the largest button to configure default keyboard controls.

[Together]

[Together] is Bean's entry for the Casual Gameplay Design Competition, where players have to help a pair of lovers pluck out hearts from the ocean and the skies. You would also have to actively avoid being swallowed by a giant worm that is chasing the couple, but a quick spin of the mouse will fend it off and give you some breathing space.

Acquiring a heart rewards you with a temporary burst ability that has to be used up before another heart will appear. Pressing the space key shows a status screen which also indicates the location of hearts still uncollected.

Charming as it is, the game does have a couple of glaring problems though. Chasing hearts can be an arduous task because of how fast they are able to change directions, and the worm is a constant bother that only serves to infuriate the player even further. All of your progress will be lost as well if you close or reload the browser window.
