The concept of Route960 quite simple. Your car comes with automatic transmission, so only acceleration and brake controls are made available to you. The objective is to complete a given mountain route without going too fast and crashing your vehicle into any of slopes.

You'll lose the game as well if your car can't climb a slope. There's a time limit, hence it's disqualification if you don't finish quickly enough.

Monadius for Windows with OpenGL is a horizontal scrolling shooter dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Gradius series.

It's pretty much the same as the original, if you don't count the fact that everything in the game is drawn using vector graphics. If you are shot down, you can always continue the game, but from certain savepoints and with all your power ups deprived.

Monadius can be played in full screen mode by using the command-line option -f.

Neko is a surprisingly refreshing 2D platform game, seamlessly blending different styles of gameplay, while keeping it all fun and enjoyable. Use your head to solve puzzles and your reflexes to avoid getting hit. Drawing inspiration from the famous plumber and Maneki Neko, the protagonist can perform all sort of actions besides jumping and collecting items. Expect to do a fair share of climbing, throwing, rolling, parachuting and much more.

Graphics are surprisingly good for a freeware title, considering that it took only three weeks to develop.

Although it features simple graphics, Medicalat does have an interesting weapon system. And the protagonist is a nurse!

Your option item is actually a syringe that you can use to absorb bullets as well as enemies. The energy you accumulate can then be used to blast away the bigger bosses.

Minebot Arena

Sometime in the far future, in a competition for money and fame that takes place in a confined arena, you are in control of a Minebot - a highly mobile remote-controlled hover-bot that can generate dangerous plasma mines. Your goal is to destroy as many waves of attack bots as you can to earn the title of Best Minebot Pilot. In addition to mines, the Minebot can fire energy shots and point-blank blasts. It can also be upgraded with items purchased from the cash you make after each enemy wave.

Minebot Arena is a unique and addicting game from Z-Ware that's been described as everything from "an intense arcade action game" to "a very fast-paced puzzle game." It is easy to pick up and play but challenging enough to test the limits of the most hardcore gamer.

Guardian of Paradise is a fun little Zelda-ish game by Buster, who you may know as the creator of Akuji the Demon. GoP casts you as Tela, a boy whose sister has fallen ill. Nobody knows what's wrong with her, so there seems to be no cure, but legends tell of healing waters in Paradise, so Tela sets out to find the fabled land and save his sister. He encounters elemental spirits along the way, which provide magic, and the basis for the game's puzzle system.

Please download and apply the english translation patch over the original file as well.

Nomltest FS

Nomltest FS is one of the best Space Invaders clone you'll ever play, although you won't think it likely from looking at the screenshot. Although the graphics are nothing special, what makes Nomltest FS unique and addictive are the cool gameplay modes. Best of these is the 'eat bullet' feature. You can 'eat' enemy bullets by capturing them, and holding down both shoot keys expands your eat radius (although slowing you down). Shooting bigger enemies are worth more points, but you can get huge bonus points from clearing whole waves of smaller enemy ships.

While the graphics is not much to look at, the gameplay is very fast and furious, and the music is quite catchy.
