|Effing Hail||Greg Wohlwend, Jacob Grahn, Jiggmin||Action/Arcade||Browser||Click here to play|
Effing Hail is a score-based action game where players attempt to damage as many buildings and airborne objects as they can under the strict time limit, using a hail storm and gusts of wind to create large hails of destruction. Hails grow in size the longer you keep them in the air, but for this to happen would need to position the cursor underneath a hail and hold the left mouse button to blow it in an upward direction. Hails which are too large will not be affected by the wind, but there is always an unending supply of hails to direct at anything that stands in your way of acquiring a top score.

The Eggyard is a single-screen art game mashup of Custer's Revenge featuring Dizzy as the main character. In it, players attempt to guide our old buddy to the end of a short level without being hit by coffins falling from the sky.
Use the right arrow key to move, and press F1 to bring up a help page. You can also switch between full screen and windowed mode with the F4 function key.
|Ele Paper Action|
|EasyGameStation||Action/Arcade||23.5 MB||Click here to download|
Ele Paper Action is a game based on a popular Japanese anime called Read or Die. Characters in the original manga do battle using paper as their weapons, and it's no different in the game itself.
You control three sisters at the same time using the arrow keys. The Z, X and C key will cause one of the character to execute an attack, depending on which key is being pressed at that time. By hitting a key repeatedly, a combo can be executed although the combat system is poorly implemented and not much fun compared to other side-scrolling fighters.
Graphically impressive for a 2D effort, the developers have included a zoom camera for close ups as well.
|Elebest||Square Enix||Puzzle||Browser||Click here to play|
Elebest is a decent Diner Dash clone by Square Enix, in which tables are replaced with elevators and kitchens substituted with buildings. The aim of the game is to place people into elevators and sending them to the floors they wish to arrive at, usually indicated by the color of their clothes. A time limit is shown on the top left of the screen, and players should avoid having a crowded lobby or the game will end.
Certain stations such as a cafe can be used to temporary clear the lobby a little. Bonus points are awarded when more than one passenger arrives on each floor, achieved by grouping a number of them dressed in similar colors into the same elevator. Watch out for men dressed in black, because they do not mix with the crowd and prefers riding the elevator alone if possible.
|Electric Yo-Yo Remake, The||Jph Wacheski||Action/Arcade||7.27 MB||Click here to download|
Sub Atomic is a reimagination of Taito's The Electric Yo-Yo, but to access jph's remake the arcade classic has to be beaten first. Complete the game or use the insert and page up key combination to skip all three stages. A Sub Atomic executable file will be unlocked, decompressed and placed in the same game folder.
In the original, your objective is basically to clear the entire screen by moving your Yo-Yo over each block to remove them. Both creatures must be avoided, unless you've gained temporary invincibility by looping an energized brick. Earn more points by maximizing the distance travelled between two blocks.
The new version features six levels, with the additional ability of launching seekers bestowed upon your electric yo-yo. Use the control key to spawn a seeker at the cost of one charged dot, and they will target your nearest adversary. Press the shift key to make the seekers follow your yo-yo for a short while. Hold a directional arrow key to chase the nearest dot. An orange line at the top of the screen indicates the number of dots that you're required to collect in order to advance. The next phase is triggered when this line touches the word 'goal'.
|Electrical Bird||Y.ABE, TUREZURE||Shoot 'em up||11.6 MB||Click here to download|
Electrical Bird is another 3D effort by Y.ABE that is slightly disappointing, due to the lack of gameplay it exhibits. You have five minutes in each stage to acquire a respectable high score by destroying the shapes and objects that litter the landscape.
The ogre.cfg file can be edited for a higher resolution or full screen mode.
|Elements ||Zanzarino||Strategy||Browser||Click here to play|
Elements is a strategy-based fantasy card game that features both single-player and online multiplayer modes, deck building options, and no micropayments needed for acquiring new cards.
There are twelve elements to specialize in, and you can customize your deck even further after winning matches and spinning for rare cards. The objective of the game is basically to reduce your opponent's hit points to zero and win the duel before he does the same to you. An elemental master can also lose the duel if he or she runs out of cards to play.
The tutorial does a great job of easing new players in quickly. You begin each round by placing pillars to generate quantums, which are then used to cast spells or summon creatures to do your bidding. A white bar will appear under the quantum cost of a card if you have enough quantums of the right colour to put the card into play.
|Emily Enough: Imprisoned|
|Logan Worsley||Adventure||6.67 MB||Click here to download|
Warning: Contains strong language and graphic scenes.
Emily Enough: Imprisoned is a short but strange adventure game by Logan Worsley, with a dark setting and a disturbing story line unlike anything seen in other AGS releases. You assume the role of a child named Emily Enough, sentenced to live in an asylum until the age of twenty-one. The objective is to figure out an escape plan with a little help from the other occupants.
|Empyreal Nocturne||Double Hawk Games||Shoot 'em up||10.4 MB||Click here to download|
Empyreal Nocturne is a third-person aerial action game in which you combat enormous flying objects by commanding a legion of birds. These objects are connected by orbs, which are fiercely defended by birds of its own. Defeat each creature by destroying their weak points, then fly into a portal to access the next stage.
Use the W, A, S and D keys to navigate your ship, or press the space key for a temporary speed boost. This move is limited to the number birds you have accompanying your ship, though these will replenish automatically as time passes.
The mouse wheel can be used to switch between attack and defense mode. Hold the left mouse button when you have acquired a target to queue missiles for launch. Restore energy by pressing the right mouse button, and use the C key to switch camera mode.
|EndEffector Accomplished Edition||KMC||Shoot 'em up||69.1 MB||Click here to download|
EndEffector Accomplished Edition is another superb freeware shooter from Japan that actually showcases 3D graphics for sprites and backgrounds, although gameplay is still very much on a flat 2D plane.
Textures are poor but that's practically the only drawback of an otherwise excellent shmup. The Z key is assigned as the cancel/secondary button, while the X key is used for selection and shoot. Pressing the C key will bring up a menu. Hold the Z key for a few seconds to charge your special weapon.
No power-ups to collect as you're already equipped with a powerful charge weapon that can be used like a slingshot. The first level is quite plain, but things do pick up after the initial boss battle.
