|---|
Picture Logic is a browser version of the popular paint by numbers game, which comes with over two hundred puzzles to solve and a success rate tagged to each as an indicator of its difficulty. Isomura Kai's implementation of Picross features double clicking for marking empty squares, an option that is absent from Armor Picross 2 and TylerK's Picross. An English tutorial is also included to assist beginners in learning the basics of solving puzzles.

 | Arcanacra Black Label
| keim, Kei Mesuda | Shoot 'em up | Browser | Click here to play (external link) |
|---|
Kei Mesuda's Arcanacra Black Label is an update of his earlier browser-based vertical shooter release. Another Mode can now be accessed right from the start, and replays of any level by the top ranked players can be watched even if you have not attempted that particular stage yet. Bomb stock is also increased from three to five.
Click on the screen to add credits. Press the Z key to shoot and hold the shift key to target enemies with your ship's homing lasers. Switch between rapid and spread shot by holding either one or both shoot buttons. The boss of each stage can be beaten easily once your ship has a persistent lock on it, especially when the lock weapon has been upgraded.
Push the right arrow key when the main menu is displayed to view the high score table.

 | Soup ver 0.9
| Yaruhara | Adventure | 7.72 MB | Click here to download |
|---|
Soup ver 0.9 is a production loosely based on LSD, a trippy dream recollection available only on the Playstation console. Choose the first option to play in full screen mode. A different part of the adventure is unlocked for each new game attempted by the player.
Hold the left shift key to look around, and touch a wall to exit any room. Describing the game any further is equivalent to providing possible spoilers.

 | Archaist
| Michi | Shoot 'em up | 9.25 MB | Click here to download |
|---|
Archaist could not be any more different than it's predecessor, yet manages to retain every defining element of the original. Your mission is basically to search each area of the map for artifacts in the shape of floppy disks and time capsules. These objects should then be deposited at a base or station in order to earn an advancement in your designated rank.
It takes a bit of effort to learn the controls, fortunately the difficulty level can be adjusted to your liking. Rather frustrating at times as well, due to the fact that the number of artifacts collected are halved if you lose a ship. There's no save game function though all these are just minor nitpicks.
A remake that even the original author would approve of. Includes a Pastfinder theme which can be selected from the main menu.

 | Torus Trooper
| Kenta Cho, ABA Games | Shoot 'em up | 6.02 MB | Click here to download |
|---|
In Torus Trooper, you pilot a ship through a tunnel chasing after other enemy pilots in a race against time. Every level is split into two sections, and progress can only be made after defeating a number of ships and one mid-level boss.
As mentioned earlier, there's a strict time limit and the only way to replenish it is by defeating bosses or reaching certain scores. It's a good idea to keep pressing the up arrow key to accelerate, because your shot strength increases as you go faster.
Enemy bullets might seem a little difficult to dodge compared to other Kenta Cho's efforts, but this is where he tops himself again. You can slow down with nice grinding effects by pressing the X key. Holding down this button actually charges your special shot that can be unleashed to absorb harmful projectiles, destroy enemy ships in it's path and gain more bonuses as well.

 | xWUNG
| cactus | Action/Arcade | 1.74 MB | Click here to download |
|---|
In xWUNG, you play by moving the mouse to swing a ball. The ball's attached to a wire, and both of them kill enemies on contact. Be careful of the debris as it's deadly. There are bosses that appear with regular intervals. Make large combos to get good scores.

 | Castle of Elite
| Daniel Remar | Puzzle | 1.59 MB | Click here to download |
|---|
Castle of Elite is an excellent puzzle platformer by Daniel Remar that has the distinction of using both keyboard and mouse for controls. The game eases you in slowly with easy-to-follow tutorials for the first quarter of the adventure, offering hints as needed with the press of a key.
Pick up blocks resembling Tetris shapes and place them using the mouse to create new platforms. Beat devious traps and perform death-defying jumps.
NES-related tributes and unlockables exist as well, making this a definite keeper.

 | Iji
| Daniel Remar | Action/Arcade | 28.0 MB | Click here to download |
|---|
Iji is an action platformer which took Daniel Remar four years to make, where players assume control of the titular character as she learns how to cope with waking up to find her world taken over by an alien race. Guided by her brother who speaks through the research complex's loudspeaker system, she has to find a way to convince an alien leader to retreat and save humankind from total annihilation.
Iji's skills can be upgraded by acquiring nanofields left behind by the aliens, then spent on cyborg stations to increase any of her seven basic stats. You can only acquire a maximum of five nano points per sector, and one nano point is awarded whenever your nano gauge reaches its limit.
Progress is saved automatically after the completion of each Sector, but not before boss fights. This is also one of the very few games which offers multiple storyline paths in relation to how much the player resorts to violence when dealing with the adversities they face. There are ten sectors to play through in total, not inclusive of the secret levels which can only be unlocked once certain requirements have been fulfilled.

 | Evacuation
| Benzido, Ben Foddy | Puzzle | Browser | Click here to play (external link) |
|---|
Evacuation is a game of strategy, quick wits, and explosive decompression. Aliens have invaded your cargo hold, and the only way to get rid of them is to vent them into space.
Left click on the doors to open and close them, or click on the floors to place a flag for your crew to rally around. The game ends if you accidentally evacuate the captain or lose all your crew.

 | Nomltest FS
| keim, Kei Mesuda | Shoot 'em up | 0.31 MB | Click here to download (external link) |
|---|
Nomltest FS is one of the best Space Invaders clone you'll ever play, although you won't think it likely from looking at the screenshot. Although the graphics are nothing special, what makes Nomltest FS unique and addictive are the cool gameplay modes. Best of these is the 'eat bullet' feature. You can 'eat' enemy bullets by capturing them, and holding down both shoot keys expands your eat radius (although slowing you down). Shooting bigger enemies are worth more points, but you can get huge bonus points from clearing whole waves of smaller enemy ships.
While the graphics is not much to look at, the gameplay is very fast and furious, and the music is quite catchy.
