LadyBug 2k6
danjo, Danny BoydAction/Arcade7.43 MBClick here to download

LadyBug 2k6 is a rather competent remake of the original with updated graphics, but it does carry the tag of a Pac-Man clone with gameplay that doesn't translate too well for the current generation of gamers.

Still, there's quite a number of additions and extras in this effort to merit the attention from fans of the original.

Justin SmithAction/Arcade1.39 MBClick here to download

Let's Go Find El Dorado is a physics-based remake of Oregon Trail, created by Justin Smith as an entry for the 16th Ludum Dare competition. The rules of the game is similar to the original, though many of the resource management elements were either simplified or removed completely for this arcade-oriented version.

Your objective here is to guide the family wagon to the city of El Dorado safely, and to achieve this goal you will have to navigate treacherous mountain range, cross polluted rivers, and brave the dangers of visiting native tribe camps that might assist or impede your journey to the promised land.

Lethal Application
DaisessenAction/Arcade148 MBClick here to download

Lethal Application is a 2D action game that introduces a unique gameplay system for moving your character around each stage. Instead of a jump button that most players are accustomed to, we have here a weapon so strong that its recoil effect can propel the protagonist in the opposite of her shot direction.

Using the weapon does deplete your energy resources, which fortunately can be replenished by collecting items marked 'E' scattered around the area. Press the Z key to shoot and the X key to activate your special move. You can swap special moves by pressing the C key but only after acquiring its corresponding power-ups.

The game was originally sold as a commercial doujin title, but was later released as a free download on the developer's official site. There are ten stages to play in total, although this count doesn't include the boss battles that await the player after every one or two normal levels beaten. You might also need to have the Japanese language pack installed on your Windows operating system to be able to run this game.

Life in Matter i032, The
(demo)
Jph WacheskiAction/Arcade2.19 MBClick here to download

The Life in Matter i032 is an interesting one key effort by Jph Wacheski, where all actions in the game are carried out through the use of one button. Your objective is to reach the core by moving the grey creature clockwise. You need to avoid objects that are orange in color, but any other items can be collected for bonus points.

The creature is always in perpetual motion, but you can change it's direction by pressing any key. Going counterclockwise will actually move it further away from the core, so keep going clockwise to reach your objective and advance to the next level.

Light Destiny
KarasuAction/Arcade39.4 MBClick here to download

Light Destiny is a pretty good doujin fighting game which was developed using Enterbrain's 2D Fighter Maker. Your character's attack strength is dependent on his or her current level, as indicated by a gauge at the bottom of the screen. This can be increased by executing moves or landing punches on your opponent.

Players are recommended to configure the controls to their liking before starting a game. Parries and safe falls most commonly found in Capcom's flagship series made their way into this production as well. Each character has their own distinctive special and super moves, though all are explained in the accompanying manual included with the download package.

Light Warrior

Feel like breaking some light and fixtures? Here's a fun way to do it without hurting yourself in the process.

Light Warrior is basically a shooting gallery of sorts, with lights as your primary targets. Aiming and shooting is done using the mouse. Starts off slow but gets frantic really quickly after level 3. Developed in two days.
