In Hard Space, you take on the role of Captain Jack 'Agrippa' Hardin, a fleet commander whose escapades and bravado have earned him the dislike of Admiral Vaynsak, who re-assigned Jack to the ISC Penetrator to both punish him and keep him as far away from the Sol system as possible.
During a routine scan of the Boner System, Captain Jack Hardin receives what can only be described as a telepathic plea for help from Fallux V. Throughout the course of the mission you will be expected to perform your duty as an ISC Captain in a professional manner. Deviating too far from this path may earn you a demerit, while showing exemplary performance may earn you an award. At the end of the mission your decisions will be weighed and a rank bestowed upon you, so take care not to make any snap judgments.
|Heartland Deluxe||LimpingFish||Adventure||24.4 MB||Click here to download|
Originally an OROW competition entry that won the prize for best writing, Heartland Deluxe now includes cutscenes and a panoramic view but it's relatively short length will disappoint many adventure game veterans.
The author admits that the lock puzzle is random, plus an abrupt end to proceedings does little to improve the situation. A commendable effort nonetheless.

|Herbert West in Carrion Reanimating||Zombie Cow Studios||Adventure||60.0 MB||Click here to download|
Herbert West in Carrion Reanimating is an action game set in a large building with multiple exits, where visitors would come knocking at any of the door and request to see if their friends are doing okay. The objective is basically to reanimate and send the right zombie to meet these people, so they can be reassured that nothing has happened and will leave you to your experiments peacefully. Should one of the guests lose their patience from waiting for a response or catch a look at their friends, then a cop will arrive shortly and attempt to find evidence of necromancy in the building. Simpy guide the other zombies away from him as he walk from one exit to another, and things would return to normal when he comes out of his search empty handed.
Use the cursor keys to move and jump, press the left control key to reanimate or kick a zombie, and tap the left alt key to flip switches. Note that zombies will be able to use switches as well after gaining some intelligence from being resurrected multiple times. Hold the tab key to view a map of the location at any time.
