|That Night Before Act 1||Scurvyliver Entertainment||Adventure||1.40 MB||Click here to download|
That Night Before Act 1 is a decent but short adventure game developed by Scurvyliver Entertainment, which is understandable due to the episodic format employed. It features a lad named Roy Haliway who loses his memory in a strange incident. Accused of kidnapping, he must embark on a quest to find his missing girlfriend.
Only three interaction cursors are available, eliminating any unnecessary guesswork. A walkthrough can be downloaded from the web site although most puzzles are relatively easy.
|That Night Before Act 2||Scurvyliver Entertainment||Adventure||1.15 MB||Click here to download|
A brief review for an equally short game. That Night Before Act 2 involves escaping from a cell and making a quick exit, which will probably take about fifteen minutes to accomplish.

That Night Before Act 3 is the penultimate chapter to an engaging series from Scurvyliver Entertainment, featuring our reluctant hero in another adventure full of mystery and plot twists.
There's a mini-game or two in this effort, new locations to explore and hidden easter eggs to discover. The story is well-written although a few typos did slip past beta testing.
|That Night Before Act 4||Scurvyliver Entertainment||Adventure||2.74 MB||Click here to download|
That Night Before Act 4 ends the series with a bang. If you've played and enjoyed the first three episodes, the final chapter will not disappoint.
Expect more funny encounters and situations that will leave you in stitches. It's quite unfortunate that the adventure has to end, although it does provide a satisfying ending and closure.

The Journey Down, Chapter 1: Over the Edge is a point-and-click adventure game that tells the story of Bwana and his friend Kito, two individuals who run a gas station but were forced to find other means of making money when the power company threatens to cut their electrical supply off. Fortunately at about the same time a young woman arrives at your doorstep looking for a book, and she willing to reward you handsomely should you be able to help her out with an errand.
Anyone familiar with classic LucasArts games should feel right at home with the controls here. Left clicking on any interactive object examines or operates it, inventory items are located at the bottom of the screen, and moving your cursor towards the top of the window displays the options menu.
You can press the period ('.') key to skip parts of a dialogue quickly, or use the escape key to end an in-game cutscene immediately. Note that there is only one save slot to use, and you might need to fiddle with the setup.exe file a bit to get the game looking as gorgeous as the screenshots posted at the official site.
|Trilby's Notes |
|Yahtzee||Adventure||2.47 MB||Click here to download|
Trilby's Notes is the latest effort by Ben Croshaw, featuring his best work to date in terms of graphics and writing. There are considerably more locations to explore this time around, but a strange addition is the use of a text parser for interaction commands.
All actions must be typed into an input box, and some guesswork is required to figure out the exact sentence that the game accepts in certain situations.
