In Torus Trooper, you pilot a ship through a tunnel chasing after other enemy pilots in a race against time. Every level is split into two sections, and progress can only be made after defeating a number of ships and one mid-level boss.

As mentioned earlier, there's a strict time limit and the only way to replenish it is by defeating bosses or reaching certain scores. It's a good idea to keep pressing the up arrow key to accelerate, because your shot strength increases as you go faster.

Enemy bullets might seem a little difficult to dodge compared to other Kenta Cho's efforts, but this is where he tops himself again. You can slow down with nice grinding effects by pressing the X key. Holding down this button actually charges your special shot that can be unleashed to absorb harmful projectiles, destroy enemy ships in it's path and gain more bonuses as well.

Think Under Defeat, but with 2D sprites. Demolition Gunner: In Search and Destroy was originally developed for a three minute gameplay competition, then turned into a complete production featuring seven stages and obligatory boss encounters.

These battles last only twenty seconds each, so there won't be much of a struggle beating them assuming that you're good at dodging an insane number of bullets. The objective of Clockwiser is basically to rotate blocks belonging to the section on the left so that they match the ones shown on the right. This can only be done by drawing rectangles and moving them along it's edges, with the pull of gravity in effect at all times.

Special blocks will be introduced at a steady pace, and there are just enough configurable options to please both geniuses and beginners. An unlimited undo feature has been included, plus the doodle city is a blast to play around with.

Anika's Odyssey is a short adventure game by Jeff Nusz, and features art by Tom Robinson. The story begins with a simple task of fetching water from the nearby water pump, but quickly becomes a magical journey involving encounters with strange creatures of the forest as you attempt to recover one of your lost belongings.

FreeCol is an open version of Colonization, a Civilization-like game in which the player has to conquer the new world.

You start the game with one vessel and two colonists. In the beginning you'll be able to send ships back to Europe in order to sell the goods you've produced or to bring back some colonists. Getting colonists into the new world is an important aspect of the game as each turn takes one year and later on even one season and as a result colonies don't grow as rapidly as they do in Civilization. You can pay colonists to come to the new world or you can attempt to persuade them with the religious freedom of your people in which case they will hop on your vessels for no money at all.

Another important aspect is trade, the source of all income apart from Inca and Aztec gold. In a land filled with precious resources it is important to build your colonies at the right location and to place crafstmen where they belong. This is not only to have an income but also to be able to live off the land when you can no longer count on the support of Europe.

Through all this you'll have to decide whether or not you want to live next to the native americans peacefully. They can teach your colonists new skills that cannot be taught anywhere else and they will offer you goods in case you choose to treat them as your friends. On the other hand, their villages can be attacked and their valuable goods can be taken from them and sold in Europe.

Other European forces are also busy occupying their piece of the new world. Should their borders go too far then take over some of their colonies by force because they wouldn't hesitate to do the same thing to you.

The object of Colonization is to declare your independence and survive an attack of the King's forces. Before declaring your independence you need to have the majority of the people behind you. This can be done by promoting free speech and by providing a strong governmental system.

Guru Logic Champs is originally a puzzler developed by Compile for the Game Boy Advance, which was also remade by PopCap under the name of Pixelus. There are usually several white spaces and immovable blocks in each stage. These blocks are the only objects which can stop the movement of the pieces that you shoot out of your cannon.

The main objective is to place these pieces on the designated areas indicated by the white squares. Pieces shot out of a cannon will continue sliding until they hit another block. Some tile manipulation skills are required as the number of blocks assigned to you is just enough to complete each level.

These pieces can be retrieved at any time by pressing the down arrow key, providing that the route is clear to do so. The board can be rotated by pressing the Z or X key. Use the page up and page down keys to browse puzzle sets when the puzzle selection screen is shown.

Only eighty puzzles are accessible in this version. The game was developed using BlitzMax, but will work under both XP and Vista operating systems.

Dyson is a real-time strategy game in which you must take control of an entire asteroid belt. You start as a single seedling that produces a tree on your starting asteroid. Your tree in turn produces new and unique seedlings which can be used to conquer other asteroids. However, the astro belt features up to ten AI opponents that provide fierce resistance and have their own drive for conquest. To defeat them you have to explore the strategic possibilites of the game. Eventually you can build up very large armies of 400 or more seedlings and witness some epic battles. With the exception of the music and sounds, and the font, almost all of the game content is generated procedurally.

An in-game tutorial is included to teach you the basics. The page up, page down, and cursor keys can be used to control the camera if you don't have a mouse wheel.

Dyson is created by Alex May and Rudolf Kremers, with music and sound by Brian Grainger. The game requires the .NET 2.0 Framework to run.

In Redder you play as an astronaut forced to make an emergency landing on an alien planet after finding out that she has run out of crystals to power her ship. This 2D platformer features a world map, regular checkpoint locations, and an unlimited number of retries to assist players who are unaccustomed to difficult challenges. The game takes about an hour to play through.

8bit killer is a 3D FPS with blocky graphics, in which players must attempt to complete four stages with three mini-areas each, culminating in a final battle with the Master Brain itself. Use the mouse to look around, and hold the left mouse button or control key to shoot. Press the right mouse button or alternate key to open doors. Access your inventory by using the space key, then move the mouse cursor and left click on a weapon to equip yourself with it. The enter key can be used to increase or decrease the window size.

From the wonderful world of Game Maker comes Poyo, a new platforming adventure which took Lazrael only one month to complete. You control the main character using the arrow keys, but most of the puzzles in the game can only be solved by figuring out the proper way to utilize your warp ability. Tap the X key to jump and use the Z key in conjunction with a directional arrow key to dash past traps or activate switches.

Press the down arrow key while standing in front of another creature to start a conversation. Instructions are printed on a text file which can be found in the zip package.

The F4 key can be used to switch between windowed and full screen mode. Features forty-five levels and six boss encounters.
