Storm Assault is a horizontal shooter created by the Storm Project development team as a tribute to Konami's early Gradius series. Everything from the classic power meter, upgrade capsules, and boss ships with specific weak points have been transferred and updated with slight changes for this loose remake.
There are two stages to play in version 0.2 and upwards. The second level features battles with Moai statues, which was originally never included in earlier releases. Joystick and gamepads are automatically detected, but you can use the keyboard to control your ship as well.

Super Crate Box is a single-player arcade game in which you score points by collecting crates. These crates give you a random weapon every time, meaning that you won't be stuck with your favorite weapon for long if you intend to climb up the online high score tables. A random character is also generated for you every time you play, and more weapons and gameplay modes are unlocked for you automatically as you gather more crates during your playthrough.

|---|
Rom Check Fail is a new action game from the developer of Fishie Fishie and Polychromatic Funk Monkey. Players have to clear the screen of all enemies to complete each level, but the task is made a little more difficult by the random switching of gameplay rules where ideas are recycled and remastered as an odd mix of arcade or console classics from the past.
Use the arrow keys to move. The space key acts as an action button. Press the left alt and enter key to switch between full screen and windowed mode. The game has twenty stages in total.

Feign is a clever maze game that is similar to Mike Inel's Where and Hazard: The Journey of Life, in which players are instructed to find the nine missing people who have hid themselves inside a network of rooms and corridors. If you lose count of how many people you have found, standing still in one spot will cause a text that displays your current progress to appear on screen.

 | Iji
| Daniel Remar | Action/Arcade | 28.0 MB | Click here to download |
|---|
Iji is an action platformer which took Daniel Remar four years to make, where players assume control of the titular character as she learns how to cope with waking up to find her world taken over by an alien race. Guided by her brother who speaks through the research complex's loudspeaker system, she has to find a way to convince an alien leader to retreat and save humankind from total annihilation.
Iji's skills can be upgraded by acquiring nanofields left behind by the aliens, then spent on cyborg stations to increase any of her seven basic stats. You can only acquire a maximum of five nano points per sector, and one nano point is awarded whenever your nano gauge reaches its limit.
Progress is saved automatically after the completion of each Sector, but not before boss fights. This is also one of the very few games which offers multiple storyline paths in relation to how much the player resorts to violence when dealing with the adversities they face. There are ten sectors to play through in total, not inclusive of the secret levels which can only be unlocked once certain requirements have been fulfilled.

 | Pylo Noveau

|---|
Pylo Noveau is a 2D platformer made with the Game Maker engine, featuring four lengthy levels to play in the first demo build released. The developer has promised four times the content in the final version, but don't let the incomplete tag discourage you from giving this game a try.
You play as Pylo, a dragon with fire-breathing ability that can be further upgraded whenever you collect a red gem. Any jewels you collect also allows you to use special powers that can either reveal secrets in a stage, heal Pylo, or even hurt enemies in a myriad of ways.
The biggest letdown of this project is the use of sound effects from other commercial releases, although if you can let that slide then there's some fun to be had here by fans of platform games.

 | Last Scenario
| SCF | RPG | 65.2 MB | Click here to download |
|---|
Last Scenario is a game made using the popular RPGMaker XP that could possibly rival Aveyond's level of professionalism, perhaps even surpass it. Tiles, music and sound effects are standard material that is included with the package, but most of the character portraits, sprites and backgrounds seen in this release were created by the developer.
The C key is used for most interactions and menu selections. Press the X key to access the inventory screen or to cancel any choices. A medium length RPG with over a thousand rooms, side quests, a unique spellcard system and even a collectible board game, it's quite unlikely that any fan would complete this production in a couple of sittings.

The name Gamma Bros sounds like a platformer but it is in fact a shooter. Use the W, A, S or D key to shoot in any of the four directions. Collect coins to purchase upgrades or health, and get close to an enemy to fire rapidly. You can change characters by touching your partner's ship when it appears on the screen.
A password save function is available, allowing players to continue from the last stage attempted. Access it by pressing the arrow keys while viewing the main menu. There's a Mac version as well.
