The game checks over the internet to find out if there are other people playing it at the moment, and it will close the application if someone else starts to play it. You have to play the game for 4 minutes and 33 seconds without being interrupted to win, hence the name.

8 Kingdoms is a 3D turn-based fantasy strategic game in which players become kings, build their empires and conquer enemy kingdoms. Players play on a fully 3D hex map. They construct buildings, recruit units including infantry, mounted units, mages, catapults and finally they attack enemy or help allies. Units gain experiences during the battle, and each unit can get some abilities upgraded to be stronger. It comes with a set of professionally designed maps for multiplayer and singleplayer gameplay.
