Gears of War - The Minesweeper
Rodain JoubertPuzzle1.23 MBClick here to download

Gears of War - The Minesweeper plays quite similarly to its namesake, but instead of avoiding mines you would have to actively engage locusts in battle and taking damage for points. You recover a little health for every turn you take, and the strength of a locust determines how much injury you are to receive in each random encounter.

Occasionally you will also come across special items that can restore your health or turn the tide of battle, but a soldier is only allowed to carry one of these at any time. Clearing out an entire area of locusts can be rather difficult, though players can choose to retire with their current score at any time with no penalty for quitting early. The only thing you will be missing out on is the chance to score more points by taking out other locusts.

God of Terrain (Chikei no Kami) is a puzzle game in the style of Psygnosis' Lemmings, where players have to guide an eggplant-headed character towards the exit in each level while avoiding any traps or obstacles that might be in his path. To achieve this you would have to drill your way through floors and walls, then build the necessary bridges or place spring contraptions to assist our hero reach higher platforms.

Hold the left mouse button to drill or place an object from your item stash. Right-click to switch between your tools. You can alternate between windowed and full screen mode by pressing the left Alt and Enter key at the same time. To use the scroll option when viewing levels, just hold the left mouse button for a couple of seconds when the cursor is over the up or down arrow indicator.

Guru Logi Champ
(demo)
CompilePuzzle0.78 MBClick here to download

Guru Logi Champ is originally a puzzler developed by Compile for the Game Boy Advance, which recently had a reincarnation in the shape of PopCap's Pixelus. In each stage there are usually several white spaces and immovable blocks. These blocks are the only objects which can stop the movement of the pieces that you shoot out of your cannon.

The main objective is to place these pieces on the designated areas indicated by the white squares. Pieces shot out of a cannon will continue sliding until they hit another block. Some tile manipulation skills are required as the number of blocks assigned to you is just enough to complete each level.

These pieces can be retrieved at any time by pressing the down arrow key, providing that the route is clear to do so. The board can be rotated by pressing the Z or X key.

Stages can be played in any order although only ten are present in the demo. A download link for the trial version can be found at the bottom of the page.
