flOw does NOT deserve a BAFTA for anything, especially innovation. Maybe it deserves a BAFTA for undeserved praise…
Anonymous - it’s pretty much Snake, and nothing like Spore at all.

Ahh, yes, good news indeed… And haowan, never underestimate the marketing muscle of Sony, even though you’re a bit too harsh on fl)w. I quite enjoyed the idea and how relaxing the game can be…

I don’t really get flOw… all you do is eat everything on one level, touch the red spot to go the next and repeat. when you’re on the last level you simply go back up to the top and start as a new creature again, repeating the whole process. It’s got a nice feel and everything but i’m not sure i’d call it innovative.

K. So how on earth did Flow get so popular? It really is dull, just dull with a really nice art direction and “environment”… can I say that? It’s ambience all over. But a very poor game.
Anyone got a list of other games we can rip and make pretty?

Good news on the BAFTA awards.
However, what’s with BAFTA listing Skate, FIFA 08 and Orange Box as PS3? Is that some kind of weak attempt to pad the number of PS3 titles in the listings to make things look “fair”? Or what?
I can *kind* of understand the way they listed the PC/360 titles as 360, since that is the platform more people would probably play them on. But the PS3 thing is kind of bizarre and detracts from the credibility of the listings.
